The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows provinces and territories to support the immigration of people who:

• have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory and
• have expressed an interest in settling in their province or territory.

Express Entry candidates who obtain a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and are effectively guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
